Enrollment in basic education schools will start on May 23
It is reported that enrollment in basic education schools will start from next May (23rd).
“Schools are now considering the school enrollment week from the 23rd to the 31st of this month. The school will open on (1). Those who can’t register during that day can register while attending school,” said an official from the Department of Basic Education.
As a result, the enrollment process will be carried out this month and the schools will be reopened as before on June 1st.
In addition, this year’s (2023-2024) academic year will be taught with the new education system, KG+12.
The Ministry of Education implemented the new education system in the last (2016-2017) academic year. Last April (27th) the results of the students who took the exam from KG to Grade-11 were announced, and the results were almost 100% good, according to NASAKA.
