At the same time as the incident, on April 23rd yesterday, the military council troops deployed in Aung Gone village of Indao town set fire to some of the people’s homes in Aungdone village without engaging in combat, and at least 5 residential houses were damaged, according to a local resident of Indao.
Intao, Sagaing Province, has been declared under martial law and up to 5 people have been sentenced to death.
