Arrested 6 impersonating monks living in dormitories wearing robes and fraudulently accepting donations
Yesterday (March 20th), 6 people pretending to be monks were arrested. At around 10:00 p.m., Yangon Region, Mingaladon Township, He was caught in the model village of Thing Gyun Kyi. It is reported that the above arrests were made during the inspection of the guest list by the group led by the administrator of the hostels on Thanti Thukha Street in Thingang Gyungyi Village.
In checking the guest list, 6 persons pretending to be monks were arrested. They were arrested along with the paraphernalia belonging to the monks who were on strike. Currently, six (6) impersonating monks have been arrested and detained at the Mingaladon Police Station and are being examined and identified so that they can be punished in accordance with the law. Residents are saying that these (6) persons pretending to be monks go to public places and cheat people with donation envelopes.
